GREENSBORO, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sensory Analytics, an emerging leader in non-contact and non-destructive coating measurement systems, today announced the upcoming release of new SpecMetrix® coating measurement systems at the 2007 Pack Expo Show (Booth S-5040) beginning October 15, 2007 in Las Vegas, NV. These systems will afford packaging industry manufacturers a new means to increase quality and reduce their unit costs.

The new SpecMetrix® coating measurement system is the first system available to the packaging industry that can measure films and coatings over any substrate material and color, to include metal, glass, plastic and paper.

Specially developed to meet the stringent quality requirements of the packaging industry, these new systems enable manufacturers and processors to measure over-varnish, inside sprays, barrier and protective coatings in real-time with nanometric accuracy.
