PinPoint GeoTech LLC, a Clemson South Carolina based technology developer announces the successful deployment of the PinPoint - Public Works(tm) GPS based data collection system in the South Carolina cities of Newberry, Gaffney, and Union.

PinPoint - Public Works(tm) is a GPS based Data Collection System used by Public Works departments to mark and categorize debris piles in and around a city that are waiting for pickup and disposal by the city debris crews. The resulting data is a route optimized dispatch map used by debris crews to go only to the places where debris is waiting to be picked up.

The result is greatly reduced fuel, manpower, and infrastructure wear and tear costs. The system also allows for quicker and more efficient collection which results in the ultimate Public Works goal of greater taxpayer satisfaction.

As a result of no longer needing to ride the entire city looking for debris piles, the city can now also boast being more environmentally friendly by greatly reducing fuel emissions as the debris crews routes become minimized and optimized.
