New National Survey Ranks the College of Charleston #25 in Student Safety
A new survey by Reader’s Digest magazine gives the College of Charleston high marks when it comes to student safety.
In a survey of 135 colleges and universities conducted by Reader’s Digest, the College was given an “A” rating and ranked #25 in the nation on the issue of school safety.
The College of Charleston was the only school in South Carolina to make the list.
In the March issue of Reader’s Digest, a special report on safety preparedness at colleges entitled “Safe at School?” examines the numerous safety threats faced by college students and describes some of the best safety practices employed by certain schools.
The survey takes into consideration the many variables between campuses, including size and location.
The full survey results can be seen at www.rd.com. along with the methodology used.
