Warren Weeks Named as Vice President of Product Development for Selah Technologies

(Greenville, SC: February 13, 2008) Selah Technologies, an advanced materials manufacturer, has named Warren Weeks as Vice President of Product Development. Weeks was most recently the Technology Director of SC Launch!, a South Carolina-based economic development and seed-stage funding program. Weeks has worked on the management team or as an entrepreneurial consultant for several advanced materials companies that have collectively raised nearly $100 million in private equity funding.

As Vice President of Product Development, Weeks will work directly with Selah’s customers to jointly develop and commercialize nano-enabled products leveraging Selah’s platform technologies. He will also lead the development and on-going evolution of Selah Technologies’ nano-enabled product roadmap.

“Warren has been a proven leader and successful advisor in his previous roles, all of which have given him significant experience both in the advanced materials sector and with start-up companies. Prior to his role at SC Launch!, Weeks was managing director of The Compound Group, where he supported leading VC firms in identifying and evaluating promising advanced materials business plans. He also served as Vice President of Business Development for a privately funded, high-tech semiconductor start-up company in Virginia and co-founded Nitronex Corporation, an emerging growth semiconductor company where he served as Vice President and General Manager.

Weeks holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Ceramic Engineering from Clemson University and a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from North Carolina State University.
