Greenville, South Carolina — David J. De Vita, founder and president of Carolina Safety Consultants, LLC, (CSC) is pleased to announce the company has responded to client feedback by offering Spanish-speaking interpreters as an option with all safety training sessions. From its headquarters in Greenville, CSC provides environmental, health and safety consulting services to small-to-mid-sized businesses throughout the Carolinas with specific focus on the construction, light manufacturing and healthcare industries.

“Having a Spanish-speaking interpreter present at our safety training sessions has been a real plus for companies across a wide variety of industries. This has been welcomed by our clients throughout the Carolinas, but particularly in the Upstate of South Carolina due to the large concentration of engineering and construction companies, many of which employ Spanish-speaking workers,” said De Vita. “Our most popular services for the construction industry include conducting safety meetings, training employees/subcontractors on select OSHA safety topics, and developing safety manuals and other safety-related printed materials. With so many Spanish-speaking people in today’s workforce it only makes sense to provide an interpreter/translator, especially when it comes to a business issue as important as safety.”

De Vita’s professional credentials include a B.S. degree in Health & Safety Management from Clemson University (1990), and a well-rounded career in workplace/jobsite safety consulting and implementation that spans more than 15 years. Prior to establishing Carolina Safety Consultants in 2004, De Vita held strategic roles with some of the Southeast’s leading general and specialty contractors, and also has worked extensively with organizations in the healthcare, manufacturing and insurance industries. De Vita and his staff are actively involved in the Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce.
