Leverage and Development launches Business Hospital For Women

Leverage & Development, LLC has launched the Business Hospital For Women as a new division to expand the firm’s services for Woman Owned Businesses. As part of the launch the Business Hospital For Women is offering an education series.

This series will help Woman Owned Businesses learn how to increase their chances of finding business opportunities through three development workshops. The series offers three development workshops designed to improve sales and aid growth for Women Business Owners. The series begins with workshops in Greenville, Anderson and Spartanburg in April. Workshops are scheduled in May for Charlotte, Columbia and Asheville. In the fall workshops will be held in other cities throughout the Carolinas.

These workshops are aimed at women business owners in specific stages of their business.
1. Should My Business Be Certified? Is designed to help existing woman-owned businesses determine if a certification would be beneficial for them
2. Capitalizing on Being Woman Owned is for women who have an established business that is already certified; it provides guidance in how to use their woman-owned status as leverage for obtaining business.
3. Woman Owned Business Advantage Exploration for Start-Ups is for women in the planning or start-up phase of a business.

Workshops will be conducted by Janet W. Christy, consultant and author of Capitalizing On Being Woman Owned, a how to book for women business owners. Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of Christy’s book.
