The Upstate International Business Network Presents a Panel Discussion on International Business Etiquette on April 2nd
The Upstate International Business Network (UIBN) with Professional Network Connections will present a panel discussion and workshop on etiquette and cultural differences in doing business in China, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Spain and Venezuela on April 2nd from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Commerce Club. The mission of the UIBN is to help facilitate international business by hosting bi-monthly meetings, whereby members can network with other international businesses and learn about different educational topics ranging from acquiring new international clients to discussing the opportunities and challenges of cultural diversity in healthcare.
“The April educational topic will be enriching to any American traveling or doing business internationally or to internationals from these countries living in the USA. The panel discussion will be facilitated by Erin Maughon, Language Training Director for Wetzel Services; a firm specializing in language and cross-cultural training. Our panel includes speakers who are native or have lived in/ dealt extensively with the represented countries.”, says UIBN President Nadia Price, a French native and Sales & Project Manager for Foreign Translations. “I am excited to be part of a business group that fosters international exchange with business conducted all over the world from right here in Greenville.”
This meeting is open to the business community and anyone is welcome to attend.
