CWIT Elects New Officers for 2008-09 Term

CHARLESTON, SC (April 08, 2008) — Charleston Women in International Trade (CWIT) has
announced its elected officers for 2008-09; Lynn Anne Christensen, Merrill Lynch, chairperson;
Jacky Sassard, S.C. State Ports Authority, vice chair; Vicki Harlan, ATS Logistics Inc., treasurer;
Charlotte Ross, OOCL, secretary; Margie Hardwick, OOCL, vice secretary; Herb Klein, Dixon
Hughes Academy, member at large. Newly elected officers will be installed on Tuesday, April 15,
at CWIT's annual banquet event held at the Doubletree Guest Suites on Church Street, located in
Charleston's Historic District. Ticket cost is $75.00 and reservations can be made online at

CWIT, on the web at www.cwitsc.org, was chartered in 2002 as a non-profit organization in Charleston, S.C. with fewer than 10 members and a mission to advance the status of women in international trade professions. This is achieved by presenting educational and networking programs, and membership includes women and men working in all facets of international trade.
