CWIT Brings You an Unforgettable Evening Under the Stars at its Annual Banquet with Father and Son Duo, Bill and William Purcell
CHARLESTON, SC (Apr 09, 2008) - Charleston Woman in International Trade (CWIT) welcomes local musicians, father and son duo Bill Purcell and William Purcell, to kick off the 6th Annual Banquet, "The Charleston Soirée". Attendees will enjoy old Jazz standards, modern contemporary favorites, and sing-a-long ballads. Entertainment begins under the stars at 6:00 PM in the Fountain Courtyard at the Doubletree Guest Suites on Church Street in the Historic District of downtown Charleston.
Listeners may remember Bill setting the mood while tickling the ivories at local favorites like Charleston Chops, Beaumont’s, Lodge Alley Inn, or more recently the Woodlands in Summerville. William’s melodic, blues influenced voice captivated audiences during past performances at Charleston’s infamous Chef & Clef, Mistral in the Market, and more recently at J. Paul’z on James Island. There will be something for all, including favorites like “Unforgettable”, “Piano Man”, “Unchained Melody”, and many more tunes. It is sure to be an unforgettable evening.
