Forbes recently published an interesting article providing several clues to clues to transformational growth.
- A Multi-Faceted Problem - How do you transfer intent into sustainable and reasonable organizational action?
- Dedicated Resources - The scarcest resource isn't money, it's time.
- Lead Opportunities - Strategic selection of opportunity areas is a critical component of success.
- Tools And Enablers - Any well-run company has tools to manage ideas in its core business--tools that can be ill-suited for nascent opportunities, where judgment and intuition are critical.
- Appropriate Mindsets - Left to their own devices, "corporate antibodies" can severely impact well-intentioned transformational efforts.
They one that piqued my interested the most is tools and enablers that can tease out judgment and intuition about nascent opportunities from people in an organization or even a broader a community.
