Acumen I.T. Hosts Tech Demo Day on May 2

In an effort to help local executives leverage business technology to increase sales, control costs, and compete in today’s global economy, Acumen I.T., a Greenville-based technology company, will host Tech Demo Day, featuring keynote speaker Greg Dixon, chief technology officer at ScanSource, on Friday, May 2. Phil Yanov of the GSA Technology Council is the emcee for the event, which will take place at Thornblade Country Club from 8:00 a.m. until 4:45 p.m.

Attendees will be exposed to new hardware and software technologies and products aimed at lowering costs, decreasing I.T. administrative duties, and reducing the risk of data loss. Companies will also learn how to use these products to help ensure successful on-time, on-budget projects and strengthen the ability to conduct business – local to global.

“Technology impacts every aspect of a business, but many local companies aren’t familiar with the myriad opportunities available to help them compete in today’s expanding global marketplace,” said Bradley Wright, Managing Partner of Acumen. “Acumen is thrilled to host local leaders and help them discover new ways and solutions to grow their businesses and compete more efficiently and effectively.”

Interested participants may register online at AcumenIT.com. Attendance is free but registrations are required.
