ISO Poly Films Appoints Russ Gehrke VP of Product Development and Technology
GRAY COURT, SC – JUNE 17, 2008 – ISO Poly Films, Inc. – a custom extruder of plastic films for critical applications in the food, medical and industrial industries – is pleased to announce that after working with the company for three years, Russ Gehrke has joined ISO full-time as Vice President of Product Development & Technology.
With more than 26 years of experience in flexible packaging technology, Gehrke is a respected leader and innovator in the industry. He holds nine patents in flexible packaging structure and package design and is known for developing products that meet productivity, quality and innovation needs.

Through his years of work and leadership in the industry, Gehrke gained extensive experience and knowledge in the application of process and materials technology in a broad spectrum of food, specialty and medical packaging applications. Gehrke spent 23 years in flexible packaging research and development for Pechiney Plastic Packaging. As Vice President of Research & Development at Pechiney, he led the R&D efforts for the Flexible Packaging Business, including product development, materials technology, process research, printing technology, analytical services, pilot plant operations and specifications. Prior to joining the ISO team full-time, Gehrke, along with co-founder Dr. Roger Kaas, operated the packaging and plastic technology consulting firm of Gehrke, Kaas & Associates, LLP.
Gehrke attended the University of Wisconsin where he earned his B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering.
