The Carolinas chapter of the Product Development and Management Association (PDMA) and Blue Rhino are hosting an event challenging local innovation practitioners to cook up new product ideas, quite literally, and hone their own new product development skills in the process.
In a unique format that combines networking, observation, and systematic innovation, attendees will form teams to grill, brainstorm, and apply best practices to generate innovative product ideas.
The teams will present their ideas to a jury of expert product developers and local business executives that includes Todd D. Brown, President of Blue Rhino & SVP Ferrellgas, Inc., and Guy Walgren, Director of Brand Development at Levolor, who will choose a winning idea. Winning teams will take home Calphalon ustensils and Blue Rhino grills!
The working session will be co-hosted by John Swansey, manager of industrial design at Lenovo, and Shimon Shmueli, partner at Touch360.
Food and drinks included.
