"P.E.S.T. Analysis: An Analytical Framework for International Business"

Summary: The P.E.S.T. analysis is a useful framework which can be used to analyze the advantages and disadvantages of entering a foreign market. P.E.S.T. stands for political, economic, social, and technological. These are the factors which make foreign markets different from the domestic market. Our speaker will explain some analytical tools which can be used to access each of these factors. He will also draw upon his experience in using case studies to teach these concepts, so as to provide as many examples as possible rather than just theory.
