ISO Poly Films Hires Barker as Technical Development Engineer
ISO Poly Films, Inc., a leading manufacturer of specialty plastic films for critical applications in the food, medical and industrial industries, announced today that Brandon Barker has joined the Gray Court, S.C.-based company as a Technical Development Engineer.
As part of ISO Poly’s go-to-market strategy of innovation, Barker will report to Russ Gehrke, ISO’s newly appointed Vice President of Product Development & Technology, and play an integral role in developing new technology and overseeing projects, including running trials and coordinating with customer operations, to deliver advanced film solutions to customers.

Barker is a proven and talented engineer with significant experience in blown film, having most recently served as the Global Applications Team Leader for Blown Film at Milliken & Company, Milliken Chemical. Prior to that, he served as an Associate Engineer in Package Design for Smith & Nephew Orthopaedics in Memphis, TN. Barker also served in the United States Army as Communications Chief for six years. While in the Army he received rapid promotions due to excellent managerial and job performance as well as multiple Army commendations for his excellent mission performance and leadership.
Barker earned both his Masters of Science and Bachelors of Science degrees in Packaging Science from Clemson University. He is a member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and TAPPI.
