The Clemson Restoration Institute’s research center is located on 86 acres of North Charleston on the former Charleston Navy Base and in the heart of South Carolina’s historic Low Country.

This research was made possible by the city of North Charleston, the Hunley Commission, the friends of the Hunley and the state of South Carolina.

The tour includes a behind the scenes tour of the tank holding the Hunley, the artifacts
area and lab.

Attendance is limited - CWIT member reservations will be accepted before non-member reservations!
