New Group Forms To Support Local Small Businesses

A new community service organization to help local small business owners grow and strengthen their business has formed in Greenville.

The organization is called POWER-N.O.T.E. (Network Of True Entrepreneurs). Membership in POWER-N.O.T.E. is free to anyone who meets the membership criteria (see Qualifications page on the web site). The only expense is the cost of registration/meals at any events attended.

The first event will be at the Greenville Hilton on December 3 (Wednesday lunch).

The premier monthly event (on the first Wednesday) will be a "POWER LUNCH" that has three components:

1) A 20-minute structured opportunity for members to connect with new people who could be important to the growth and strength of their business. This might include referral sources, prospects, vendors or peers.

2) While eating lunch, members will be provided with a 40-minute program focused on business best practices or skills … with the specific objective of providing members with new and fresh insights into important areas of their business.

3) The meeting will conclude with a 20-minute unstructured opportunity to connect with the presenter(s) and other members in attendance.

For more details, or to attend, go to the web site at ... http://www.power-note.com.

In addition, there is also a Power-Note Facebook "fan page" at ... http://www.power-note.org so business owners can "become a fan" and get plugged in to discussion groups and more.

The introducing sponsors include BizTrek Marketing Mentors, GSATC, Oprius, Spinning Silk, and Swamp Fox.
