Quinn joins Ellis Lawhorne

COLUMBIA, S.C., December 2, 2008 - - Ellis, Lawhorne & Sims, P.A., has welcomed Michael H. Quinn, Jr., as an of counsel attorney. Quinn is a member of the Firm’s Business, Real Estate and Finance Practice Group.

Prior to joining Ellis Lawhorne, Quinn worked with another law firm for eight years where he gained experience in civil litigation involving various real estate and business matters, including
construction defects, land use disputes, zoning matters, contract disputes, title insurance claims,
landlord/tenant disputes and condemnation. While practicing law, Quinn was a vice president of a
Columbia title insurance agency. At Ellis Lawhorne, Quinn will focus his practice on commercial real estate, business transactions, and condemnation.

Quinn earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Carolina (USC) in 1995. He went on to earn his juris doctor from USC School of Law in 2000. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar, Richland County Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
