Leverage and Development Evaluates Laurens County DJJ Program
Leverage & Development, LLC recently completed an evaluation of the Laurens County Juvenile Detention Alternatives Program.
The Juvenile Detention Alternatives Program offers an opportunity for juveniles to stay in their communities and receive counseling, mentoring and supervision while awaiting their court appearance. The Program is funded by a grant from the SC Department of Juvenile Justice. The City of Clinton Police Department is the administrator of the Program.
A yearly Program evaluation is required by DJJ. Leverage & Development, LLC conducted the first year evaluation which included interviewing partners and participants, gathering and analyzing statistics and preparing a report.
The Program has been funded for a second year.
Leverage & Development, LLC, a consulting firm, based in Greer SC, does research, grant writing and program evaluations for government, education and non-profit entities. The firm also works with small, woman and minority owned businesses directly and through small business centers.
