Microsoft Completes Case Study on ProActive Technology Custom Development Project

ProActive Technology, LLC is please to announce that Microsoft has published a case study on a custom application development project that ProActive completed for a global diversified manufacturing company. The project involved rewriting a mission critical client-server legacy application and making it a web based .Net application. It also involved consolidating several hundred Microsoft SQL server databases into a single Microsoft SQL server database partioned per the four operating divisions.
Some of the benefits to the client are a 60 percent reduction in the cost of maintaining the company’s inventory database, more flexibility for users, and greater IT efficiency, which allows the IT staff more time to work on value-added projects for the company.
