BeliefNetworks™, Inc. Releases API Showcasing Semantic Search Capabilities

The BeliefNetworks REST API has been released for general use. It provides semantic concepts, web site recommendations, and Twitter site recommendations based on URL or raw text input.
I believe that this will allow users to see the many different applications of this technology. While BeliefNetworks has shown very articulately the use of its AffinityAgent through the ad recommendation platform created for Managing Automation, releasing the API to thousands of developers enables them to display the technology through many other applications. It will serve as a great taste of the power BeliefNetworks is able to offer any business needing to match and search data. In addition, the solution can be implemented on a web publisher site with as little as a day of development due to the substantially reduced overhead it enjoys with a distributed, cloud-based architecture.
In addition to the superb example of the implementation of the technology, the release of the API will get data flowing through BeliefNetwork’s systems. This will allow the team to model data from vastly diverse areas and begin finding interesting connections and links between the different sources of data.
With the signing of their first deal with Managing Automation and the formal release of the API to developers, BeliefNetworks is taking off. Not only is it a really exciting time for the startup, but also it is a wonderful thing for the city of Charleston and the state of South Carolina to have a true West Coast style startup beginning to thrive in our own backyard.
