InnoVision and Wesley/FastFetch, LLC & ScanSource, Inc. are hosting a technology forum that will focus on what is really happening with passive RFID today. This is not a RFID presentations for highlighting the technology and promises for the future, but a real world application seminar.
Topics will include:
Mandates by major retailers and the DoD; Tag hardware advances and challenges in manufacturing/packaging; Standards overview and ePC Global's role and plans; today's and tomorrow's writing and reading technologies, including printers, readers, portals; "Show and tell" some technologies; Middleware; Advances and applications in monitoring quality in food packaging; and Challenges in integration with legacy applications for distribution center and supply chain management.
