SCRA Announces EMALL Contract Extension
with U.S. Department of Defense

CHARLESTON, SC – March 18, 2009 – SCRA, a global leader in applied research and commercialization services, announces a prime contract extension on the EMALL program executed by SCRA with the Department of Defense (DoD). The DoD EMALL is the military equivalent of Amazon.com™ and provides service men and women, as well as personnel from other government agencies with worldwide, one-stop shopping for a broad array of goods and services. SCRA has supported DoD EMALL since 1998.

Leading the project team is SCRA’s Institute for Solutions Generation, which manages and executes interoperability-relations research and development activities and provides objective evaluations of existing and emerging command and control (C2) capabilities.

“SCRA is very gratified by the EMALL extension,” said CEO Bill Mahoney. “DoD’s exercise of the contract extension not only reinforces SCRA’s ability to develop long-term, mutually beneficial client relationships, it also reflects SCRA’s burgeoning core competency in interoperability, which continues to grow and benefit military and industrial clients worldwide.”
