What the Crowd can do for you - Crowdsourcing and Wisdom of Crowds

From programs like IdeaStorm to IBM's Idea Jam, many organizations are discovering the wealth of ideas and insights available from their customers and business partners. This new term is "Crowdsourcing," which puts to work the wisdom of the masses. Data supporting the philosophy that the many are smarter than the few are presented in James Surowiecki's 2004 book, The Wisdom of Crowds.

Join Vida Killian from Dell's IdeaStorm, Melissa Blaisdell from Cisco, Richard Nesbitt from IBM's Idea Jam team and Barry Bayus from UNC's Kenan Flagler School for a panel discussion on crowdsourcing. The Panel will be moderated by Jeffrey Phillips from OVO, a leading innovation consulting organization.
