Clemson Renaissance Center Spring Innovation Roundtable: Michael Rubel, Michelin N.A., Innovation Development Manager, TWEEL

"Innovation in a Mature Company: Launching the Tweel"

Speaker: Michael Rubel, Michelin N.A., Innovation Development Manager, TWEEL Project

Michael Rubel has a wide range of experience as an entrepreneur, non-profit leader, corporate business manager and former Military Officer. In his current position as Innovation Manager for Michelin North America he leads the development of Tweel - a revolutionary new integrated tire-wheel design that has won international design awards and challenged thinking about the way tires are made and how they perform. Rubel created an Innovation development process that Michelin has implemented globally and served as the Sourcing Manager for consulting, financial and technical. At the Spring Innovation Roundation, Rubel will discuss Innovation best practices, how Michelin applies these in the development of the Tweel technology and how they might apply to what you are doing in your business. We hope that you will be able to join us for a frank, open and creative discussion on this challenging topic.
