WHM Capital Advisors Continues Executive Briefing Series with "Stress Testing for the Small Company"

WHM Capital Advisors announces that it will continue its 2009 Executive Briefing Series with a seminar, “Stress Testing the Small Company: Growing Value and Minimizing Risk,” for businesses with fewer than 500 employees. “The executive briefing series gives business owners and senior management teams fresh perspectives on contemporary topics. This seminar will focus on ‘stress testing’ for small companies,” said William H. McAfee, President of WHM Capital Advisors. “We will focus on how companies can grow their value and minimize risk during these economic times.”
WHM Capital Advisors will host attendees on Monday, May 18, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Palmetto Club and on Thursday, May 21, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Poinsett Club. Interested participants must RSVP by May 15 to hstilwell@whmca.com or call 877-269-5342.
During this executive briefing, attendees will learn practical skills on how to define key metrics for their own level of stress testing, similar to the testing underway at banks and large companies to determine performance during a prolonged recession. “While companies with fewer than 500 employees have no requirement to perform stress testing, it’s actually a beneficial activity considering the limited availability of capital and decrease in consumer spending,” McAfee said.
