Just for Spoleto—Prix Fixe Curtain Catcher menu

Charleston, SC—During Spoleto Festival USA, downtown Charleston comes to life as at no other time. Everywhere there are black clad musicians toting instrument cases and rushing to their next performance. So are many audience members.

In order to make life easier for Spoleto performance-bound diners, The Library restaurant at The Vendue Inn in Downtown Charleston, is offering a prix fixe pre-show menu. Guests who arrive by 6 p.m. are guaranteed to depart the restaurant with time to enjoy a leisurely stroll to Memminger Auditorium, Sottile Theater or other peninsular performance venue.

Executive Chef Sara Carter has designed a Lowcountry inspired menu that delivers the culinary essence of Charleston in a tasty, timely fashion.

The dinner menu has two featured appetizers and three featured entrees from which guests may select. At $39.99 per person, this three course dinner with a guaranteed “in and out” in one hour is a great value for Spoleto attendees. The chef does request that there be no more than four people in a party, however, exceptions may be made on an individual basis pending circumstances at the time of request.

If diners wish to hold their appetites at bay and return later for dinner, they may select from four featured appetizers on the $29.99 appetizer and wine menu which includes two appetizers and two glasses of wine.
