TwinEngines’ Kevin Seefried Presents: Getting More Out of Your IT Investments in a Down Economy

Kevin Seefried, President of Atlanta-based TwinEngines Inc., instructed a CPE-qualified web seminar on the actions companies can take to get more out of their IT investments during this down economy. The instructional course covered the traditional technology systems that support business functions for small and mid-market companies who participate in the manufacturing value chain. These systems include CRM, Web, ERP/MRP/Financials, and shop floor operations management.

Attendees received valuable information about current trends in the business systems marketplace and the value of long-term planning for a better economy. Examples of companies tackling known business issues with specific tactical solutions as part of continual improvement programs were provided. Leveraging the existing business applications by adding integrated, custom solutions was demonstrated as one way businesses can retain legacy systems and avoid large capital expenditures.

For manufacturing organizations that may have already received the ROI from ERP and Supply Chain systems, Seefried focused on the trend to look for productivity gains on the shop floor. For a company’s web presence, an action plan was presented to increase leads and sales, and to improve customer service. Adding CRM as a SaaS solution and how to gain the most benefit by integrating it into the business was discussed. Rounding out the discussion was the steps to achieve more cost effective marketing with email campaigns.
