Always a destination for arts, entertainment and a great meal, Columbia’s Congaree Vista is hosting its second annual epicurean event to introduce the Southeast to its award-winning restaurants. Viva la Vista, which is free and open to the public, will provide an open and creative environment for visitors to expand their palates by sampling Southern and international cuisine, wine and original art.
Last year, Viva la Vista was a huge success, and this year’s visitors can look forward to another wallet-friendly day of sampling the best food Columbia has to offer. In 2009, Viva la Vista has paired with the Free Times Music Festival for live entertainment.
Participating restaurants and entertainment are still being finalized, but the following have expressed interest:

MORE: Cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, a wine-tasting tent, family-friendly activities and more will please visitors of all ages.
