2nd Annual Summer Sizzling Innovation Event

Product management, new product development, new services, and innovation initiatives are key drivers of a company's long term profitability and growth in any economy. NPD (New Product Development) pros with the requisite skills and experience will always be in demand.

But what are those skills? How does one position themselves as an NPD Professional? As an innovation master? As one who can drive the customer's voice throughout a company's strategy and new products? As a profit center and business manager?

In this session, designed by the Carolinas chapter of the Product Development and Management Association, you are the product - and American industry becomes the customer. We'll look at the "features" (skills and experience) that companies need and the "marketing plan" required for accelerated product launch (your career)!

In a dynamic economy, how might we create new opportunities for ourselves, and our companies, in new product development and management?

A panel of experienced NPD practitioners, HR search and development experts, and corporate HR pros from Bank of America, Ingersol Rand, Momentive Material, and other local area companies will kick-off the evening's exploration.

Additionally, attendees will participate via roundtable discussions which are focused on this career development challenge. Results from each individual session will be shared with the other groups.
