BBB To Hold First Gaffney 'Secure Your ID' Shred Day
GREENVILLE, SC – The Better Business Bureau Upstate South Carolina will offer complimentary commercial shredding services to individuals and small business owners during a Sept. 26 Shred Day at Prime Outlets in Gaffney.
The BBB Upstate SC has held several successful ‘Secure Your ID’ Shred Days in Greenville, Anderson and Spartanburg, and is bringing the Shred Day program to the Gaffney community for the first time on Sept. 26. “Our goal is to educate Upstate residents on the importance of shredding confidential and sensitive information to protect them from Identity Theft,” said BBB President Kathy Barrett. “We’ve had overwhelming response in other cities across the Upstate, and we’re pleased to now offer a Shred Day for those in and around Gaffney.”
Shred Day in Gaffney will be held from 10 am until 2 pm at Prime Outlets, 1 Factory Shops Boulevard, with free shredding services open to individuals and small business owners. Individuals are asked to limit boxes to five per person or 10 per vehicle. Businesses are asked to limit boxes to 10 total. Box sizes should be approximately 10 x 12 x 15 inches. The Better Business Bureau, Cintas, Prime Outlets and Chick-fil-A are sponsoring the event.
