The nuclear energy industry is getting ready to grow, and the Carolinas Nuclear Cluster – a team of 28 organizations, is responding. There can be opportunities for small and medium-sized enterprises to be part of the planning, construction and operation of these power facilities.
The nuclear industry has highly detailed specifications for its suppliers, and knowing those spec’s are critical to success. A short session about product and service procurement in the nuclear industry in the Carolinas will be held SEPTEMBER 30 from 8:30 – 11:45 a.m. in Greenville, South Carolina, at the Jacobs Engineering offices located at 1041 East Butler Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29607.
Firms that could be possible suppliers in the nuclear renaissance and can benefit from this short seminar:
• MANUFACTURERS: Pipes, valves, fittings, electrical systems, HVAC, construction materials.
• SERVICES: Machine shops, electrical/mechanical/HVAC maintenance, waste, clean-up, office maintenance, hazmat, painters, radiological protection, quality control, lab services.
