Darla Moore School of Business Economic Outlook Conference: "Outlook for the Economy, 2010: Recovery or Relapse?" - Dec 2

The Economic Outlook Conference will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009, at the Darla Moore School of Business, 1705 College Street (corner of Pendleton and Barnwell streets), Columbia.

USC economists will give their outlook for the coming year, as will a panel of economists from across the state. Keynote speaker is Harris E. DeLoach, Jr., chairman, president, and CEO of Sonoco Products Company; his topic is “Lean, Fit, and Ready to Grow.”

The event will be held from noon to 4 p.m. in the Lumpkin Auditorium on the 8th floor of the Moore School. Heavy hors-d’oeuvres will be served, beginning at 12 noon, and there will be an opportunity to network for one hour. The conference – whose theme is “Outlook for the Economy, 2010: Recovery or Relapse? ” - begins at 1 p.m.

Cost is $55, which includes heavy hors d’oeuvres and the afternoon program.
