Three Microsoft MVPs Participate in Premier Conference for SQL Server Professionals

October 21, 2009 – Charlotte, NC – Three of Mariner’s top SQL Server experts will share their knowledge with their peers at the upcoming PASS Summit Unite 2009. Wayne Snyder, John Welch and Rafael Salas will share their expertise as presenters and subject matter experts at conference sessions and events. PASS Summit Unite 2009 will be held at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington, on November 2-5. PASS is the Professional Organization for SQL Server that hosts an annual summit considered to be the most noted event in the world for its professional members.

Wayne Snyder, Managing Consultant for Mariner, will be featured in a spotlight session entitled, “Reporting Services for the Enterprise: Surviving with a Smile.” Wayne will provide insight into structuring such details as folders and security, organizing projects and applying best practices to achieve success with SSRS for the Enterprise. John Welch, Mariner’s Chief Architect, will lead two sessions: one for those interested in cloud computing entitled, “SQL Server BI in the Cloud” and another on “Using Agile Development Techniques with Integration Services.” John’s deep experience in applying data-driven solutions to meet both strategic and tactical needs will make these sessions invaluable for attendees. Rafael Salas, Senior Consultant, will volunteer his time and BI knowledge in the Experts Lounge where he will work alongside the Microsoft Development Team to answer questions about data warehousing and Visual Studio Database Edition. Rafael will also lead a “Birds of a Feather Lunch,” that will focus on Visual Studio Database Edition and Team Foundation Server.

As leaders in the PASS community, the Mariner team will participate in discussions and learning sessions with other experts from Microsoft and within the community.
Wayne Snyder, widely recognized as one of the most knowledgeable people in SQL Server, is the President of PASS, a SQL Server Most Value Professional (MVP) and author. Wayne is recognized and sought out as a SQL Server speaker, trainer, educator and advisor by organizations all over the world.
