HR Workshop at the BMW Zentrum

The HR Workshop is scheduled for November 11, 2009 at the BMW Zentrum. Designed for human resource professionals, the workshop will offer two sessions for HR credits as well as the opportunity to network with other HR professionals and business executives, participate in an engaging discussion pertaining to HR and personnel issues, earn HR credits and tour the BMW manufacturing facility.

The registration fee is $70 for both sessions – includes lunch and a plant tour – or $40 for one session. Session one, “The Art of Hiring Smart,” will offer recruiting and interviewing strategies, new assessment tools and strategies, and a discussion of the US Department of Labor “Assessment and Testing – Employer’s Guide to Good Practices.” The afternoon session will offer insights and plans for effective workforce development, including aptitude and talent assessment, leadership skills/competency model and key elements of leadership development. The program is pre-approved for up to 4.5 HRCI credits.
