DESA’s Meg Pridemore Receives LEED Green Associate Certification

Meg Pridemore, construction manager at DESA, Inc., has recently passed the Green Building Certification Institute’s LEED Green Associate certification test.

By gaining this internationally-recognized certification, Pridemore has demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and familiarity with LEED requirements, resources and processes.

Pridemore has over 23 years of experience within the construction industry, and has been employed with DESA since the summer of 2008. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in building science from Clemson University. Additionally, she is a licensed general contractor, certified Chapter 1 public school construction inspector and a certified sediment control and erosion prevention inspector within the state. Furthermore, Pridemore is a member of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), the Council of Educational Facility Planners (CEFPI) and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
