Swamp Fox note: In the mid 1990s, when some of the people reading this were still toddling around, Mark Knight and I, along with several other people, were original members of the South Carolina Investors Network. SCIN was one of the first organizations in the state focused on creating a knowledge economy. SCIN ran its life cycle and is no more, and of its original members, Mark and I are among the last ones still engaged in innovation and entrepreneurship in South Carolina.
