CTC announces the launch of Milscan™ which is a low cost full body scanning system for airport and public building security.
The Milscan™ system uses the shorter wavelength millimeter wave radiation to differentiate between organic body mass and non-organic materials. However, through the use of CTC proprietary and COTS technology Milscan™ is scalable, modular and is 1/4 the cost of existing systems. It can be combined with X ray, thermal and other imaging technology in one easy to deploy form factor.
In addition, the system architecture is fast and has automated threat recognition software. This makes screening faster, more reliable and reduces human error factors.
