Progress Lighting introduces 2010 collections, revamps web site

GREENVILLE, S.C., Jan. 6, 2010 – Progress Lighting has introduced a variety of lighting collections to its 2010 offering, which include the latest in Made-to-Order, energy efficient, bath and outdoor fixtures.

Additionally, the residential lighting manufacturer started the New Year with a new look for its Web site, www.progresslighting.com. The redesigned site is user-friendlier and includes features such as links to industry news, a tips and trends guide, an enhanced media resource center, as well as access to digital brochures and catalogs.

MADE TO ORDER

Markor -With a vintage modern flair, Markor contains a style that was inspired with mid-century designs in mind. Markor incorporates a modular pendant approach to offer individuals the ability to create their own unique look by selecting from among a number of choices, including:
• Fabrics (Beige silken, Chloe linen white-on-white floral pattern or Black parchment)
• Pendant sizes (10” mini-pendant, 16” medium pendant and 22” large pendant)
• Stem kits (1-light or 3-light).

Made-To-Order CFL Fabric Sconces, Le Papier - This innovative series of CFL fabric sconces optimizes value in aesthetic appeal through a variety of decorative element options.
• The primary aesthetic element is decorative acrylic paper that offers a smooth, finished appeal and is available in optional patterns and colors.
• An inner transmissive element diffuses the CFL light source to provide even luminance.
• Available in both Nickel and Bronze finishes, the End Caps allow luminance below and above the fixture.

P8071 and P8026 LED Finish Additions
Progress continues its focus on adding aesthetic value to residential and light commercial applications by expanding its LED downlight series with new finishes.

Coupled with the inherent low glare, high output performance of the P8071 and P8026 LED downlights, these finishes provide customers with options to achieve the desired appearance and enhance the environment.

The following finishes are currently available as make-to-order (MTO) and carry a standard 2 to 3 week lead time to ship from Progress’ domestic factory.
• -20: painted antique bronze finish to match wood ceilings, flange matches trim finish
• -36: painted chestnut finish to match wood ceilings, flange matches trim finish
• -31: painted matte black finish, flange is painted matte white
• -121: painted metalic silver finish for use in commercial applications, flange is painted matte white

ENERGY EFFICIENT

• P8022, surface mount LED - The P8022 is a surface mount LED downlight with light output and distribution that rivals that of typical 65W BR30 incandescents but at less than 12W of input power. Intended for use in both new construction and remodel, the P8022 is ideal for single and multi-family applications such as utility and general illumination. This product is available in both warm white 2700K (incandescent) and 3500K (halogen) correlated color temperatures, and the -30 gloss white trim finish.
o Anticipated life is 50,000 hours L70. This means that at 50,000 hours, the LED’s will be providing 70% of initial lumens.

• Our popular Basic Builder Bath is now available in an Energy-Star version and uses a 13W GU-24 self-ballast spiral lamp, included. Features simple transitional design with elongated race track back plates and etched alabaster glass shades.
o Finishes -09 Brushed Nickel and -20 Antique Bronze.

• Modern linear bath lights featuring minimalist lines with flat etched glass panel and simple cylinder knobs and Brushed Nickel frame.
o Available in two sizes: 24” and 36”.
o Uses T-8 fluorescent lamps

• Maier bath collection – Clean and simple cylinder silhouettes in a Brushed Nickel finish with white satin diffusers. The collection features urban loft styling and offers two designs that can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. Features a white satin acrylic shade.
- 1-light bath uses 13W GU-24 lamp, not included.
- 1- and 2-light flush mounts feature clean drum shaped glass diffusers. These close-to-ceiling luminaires will be great in the bath, as well as hallways and other ceiling applications.

BATH

Addison – Inspired by the sophisticated scalloped cuts in a seashell, Addison features graceful, curved arms and delicate scalloped glass shades with an etched glass finish. The collection was developed to coordinate with the 2009 Delta Faucet collection.
- 1- through 3-light bath with matching 2-light close-to-ceiling.
- Available finishes:
o -09 Brushed Nickel (coordinates well with Delta’s Brilliance Stainless)
o -15 Chrome
o -03 Aged Pewter (Delta match)
o -74 Venetian Bronze (Delta match)

Laguna – Updated modern with nature-inspired styling. Ocean waves were the inspiration behind this collection. The unique oval shades painted with inset wave patterned opal glass create a sophisticated silhouette, which is highlighted by a classic, high-polished Chrome Metal finish. Available in 1- through 3-light styles and uses a 60W E-12 kryton lamp, included with each fixture.

Lahara – This timeless design works with a variety of bath decors, and was developed to coordinate with Delta’s popular faucet design.
- 1- through 3-light bath with matching 2-light close-to-ceiling.
- Available finishes:

Lynzie – Uncluttered and simple lines depict the gracefulness of the Lynzie bath collection. Etched white opal shaped glass shades are held by delicate classic chrome finished arms. A cousin to the Chloe collection, Lynzie includes 1- through 4-light bath lights and a 2-light flush mount fixture.

OUTDOOR

Meadowlark– Unique arched roof creates a window effect on this casual-styled rectangular lantern, featuring vertical panels of water-seeded glass and ribbon scrolled finish loops.
- Finished in Oil Rubbed Bronze
- 5 Styles, all made in cast aluminum
o Small, medium and large wall lanterns
o Large hanging and post fixtures
o 2- and 3-light styles feature candle clusters

Prestwick – Stately lanterns with classic roof lines and unique cast yolk straps that capture the water glass urn shades.

Valera – Clean urban lines on these simple rectangular sconce-style lanterns. They feature die-cast aluminum construction with metal bands and matte white diffusers. T-24 compliant, accepts a self-ballasted GU-24 lamp. Available in 2 finishes:
