Mandy Chapman-Stroud Moves From Real Estate Generalist to Foreclosure Specialist

Mandy Chapman-Stroud of Dynamic Realty has become one of the few members in the Greater Greenville Association of Realtors (GGAR) to become a Real Estate Owned (REO) Specialist.

“Homeowners who are behind on payments or who fear losing their home need an advocate,” said Stroud.

Stroud has been in real estate for six and a half years, and has worked with Dynamic since 2005. GGAR introduced Stroud to the American Real Estate University (AREU) and its REO Specialist designation.

The REO Specialist designation is a certified foreclosure agent program. Stroud joins fewer than one percent of all real estate licensees as a REO Specialist. AREU’s courses have provided over 25,000 real estate agents the knowledge and skills to perform in an industry crowded with homeowners nearing foreclosure.

“It's made me aware of the creative options that are available to homeowners who are facing the loss of their home,” Stroud said.

“It’s rather important as real estate professionals that we understand the dynamics of working with banks and lenders in our areas where these properties are located” said AREU Certified Instructor Cathy McDaniel.
