Midlands Technical College Foundation Board Announces New Officers and Board Members

The Midlands Technical College Foundation has elected new officers and board members for 2010.

The new officers are Chair: William T. (Bill) Mahoney, Chief Executive Officer, South Carolina Research Authority; Vice Chair: Thomas E. (Tom) Persons, Sr., President and CEO, South Carolina Technology Alliance; Secretary: Barbara D. Willm, Vice President of Community Relations, Lexington Medical Center; and Treasurer: Marion A. (Lex) Knox, Jr., Chairman, Terminix Service, Inc.

New MTC Foundation board members are J. Holt Chetwood, Senior Vice President and Market President, Wachovia; Judith M. Davis, Executive Vice President & Chief Legal Officer, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina; Melissa A. Drescher, Senior Vice President, South Carolina Market Manager, Bank of America; John H. Hudgens, III, Team Director, BB&T Wealth Management; G. Scott Middleton, Chief Executive Officer, Agape Senior; R. Michael Sisk, Chief Financial Officer, Ben Arnold-Sunbelt Beverage Company of South Carolina; and G. Larry Wilson, Venture Partner, FirstMark Capital.

The Midlands Technical College Foundation provides the structure through which individuals, corporations and other private sector interests can demonstrate their financial support for the academic programs and economic development services offered by Midlands Technical College.
