Please join us for an opportunity to learn about the efforts of South Carolina Companies innovating in health care to improve quality of life and save lives.

PANEL INCLUDES:

Mr. Rob Miller (North American Rescue) - Mr. Miller will discuss North American Rescue’s latest technology and products for decreasing preventable death on the battlefield, within urban areas and under austere conditions. NAR has been credited for saving thousands of lives with their innovative and leading edge designs, training and products. Live demonstrations will be available.

Mr. Tom Strange (St. Jude) - Mr. Strange will discuss the development of medical technologies and services that put more control into the hands of physicians who treat cardiac and neurological conditions. By looking through the eyes of the patient, St. Jude works to reduce risk and to ensure the best patient outcomes.

Mr. Michael Bolick (Lab21) - Mr. Bolick will discuss the development of nanotechnologies for use in in-vitro and in-vivo diagnostic products as well as the recent acquisition related to Lab21 as well as the formation of the Lab 21, Inc., headquarters in Greenville.

Drs. Steven Trocha (GHS) and Dr. Christine Schammel (Furman) - Drs. Trocha and Schammel will discuss how they are giving participants experience in significant translational clinical research by addressing issues centering on quality measures and delivery of care to patients.
