Coldwell Banker Caine Accepts the Metropolitan Arts Council Business and Arts Partnership Award
Coldwell Banker Caine accepted the Metropolitan Arts Council (MAC) 2009 Business and Arts Partnership Award, which recognizes businesses in the Upstate for exceptional achievements in and contribution to the arts. The award was given at the MAC Annual Meeting in the Peace Center’s Gunter Theatre last month.
Coldwell Banker Caine has contributed to arts in the Upstate for years, most notably sponsoring the Art in Action stage at Artisphere, featuring crowd favorite Brian Olsen. Since the first annual Artisphere Festival in 2006, Coldwell Banker Caine has been a high level sponsor alongside other organizations such as presenting sponsor Carolina First, MAC, the South Carolina Arts Commission, Greenville County and the City of Greenville.
Coldwell Banker Caine has also maintained a long-standing commitment to The Peace Center for Performing Arts in Greenville and currently serves as the playbill sponsor. In addition, sales associates and staff of Coldwell Banker Caine support the arts by volunteering and financially supporting the South Carolina Children’s Theatre, the Carolina Ballet Theatre, the Upcountry History Museum and the Greenville Chorale.
“Coldwell Banker Caine and my family have a deep appreciation for the arts, and we support various cultural initiatives throughout the community,” said Brad Halter, president of Coldwell Banker Caine. “We are pleased to accept the Business and Arts Partnership Award, and we look forward to continuing our contribution to the arts scene across the Upstate.”
Coldwell Banker Caine will again host renowned artist Brian Olsen at its Art in Action Stage at the year’s Artisphere’s Festival held May 7 – 9, 2010, in Greenville.
