Topaz Publications Inc. to Develop Training Programs for "Green" Initiatives
Topaz Publications, Inc of Greenville and Syracuse has received contracts to develop a series of training programs to support green initiatives. The new programs cover sustainable construction management, installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic systems, and the DOE Weatherization initiative. According to Topaz CEO Thomas Burke, " these contracts are an outgrowth of several programs already being developed by Topaz for the energy and construction industries and will continue to be a significant source of revenue for us. In the next few months, we expect to take on additional development projects to train workers for installation and maintenance of wind, gas, and steam turbines. Again, these projects are a natural extension of work we've been doing for several years."
Topaz Publications (www.topazpubs.com) develops training programs for classroom and online delivery. The focus of these programs is technical and safety training for workers in heavy construction, industrial facilities such as refineries, and the power generation, transmission, and distribution sectors.
