Profit Partners Opens to Help Companies Increase their Profits
(Greenville, SC February 8, 2010) Two change management professionals, Terry Dailey and Ed Young, are combining their 50 years of industry experience to form Profit Partners, a business performance improvement firm that works with small to mid-sized companies to improve their bottom line.
Through their proven process, they identify smarter, leaner opportunities for all businesses—from preparing a small business for sale to improving mid-size company operations. Both Dailey and Young have worked for Fortune 500 companies and used their business improvement strategies to turn around poorly performing companies and to make others more efficient and profitable. Clients range from manufacturers to hospitals to service organizations.

Young has held engineering and management positions at Ryobi, WestPoint Stevens, and TRW locally, was a change management consultant for Oregon Manufacturing Extension Partnership and has owned his own business. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and is certified in Lean and Constraint Management and holds both Jonah and TOCICO Operations certifications. He earned a BS in industrial engineering technology from Clemson University.
Dailey recently was senior executive for Sealed Air Corporation, a Fortune 500 company, where he managed nine operations and developed their continuous improvement strategy and supporting plans. Prior to that he was plant manager for a shrink film operation, Cryovac, in Seneca, SC. Dailey is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and his specific experience has focused on improving business processes from the front office to the plant floor. He earned an MS in applied statistics from Purdue University and a BA in economics from SUNY - Geneseo.
