Guest Speaker: Greg Hillman, SC Launch
Greg Hillman is a member of the SCRA / SC Launch initiative where he has been responsible for program operations activity in South Carolina since late 2007. Prior professional experience includes management and operating roles in start-ups as well as within the Fortune 500.
With Computer Sciences Corporation’s (CSC) Consulting Practice, Greg directed teams in several multi-billion dollar engagements; with DuPont’s Photopolymer & Electronic Materials SBU, Nortel North America, where he was responsible for the IT asset inventory in Europe, Asia and in South America and as engagement manager during WorldCom’s acquisition of MCI. As National Industry Director with Cincinnati Bell Information Systems (now Convergys), he grew and managed cellular carrier client accounts for greater than half of the industry.
Greg was CEO & co-founder of start-up Integrated Business Solutions (IBS), Inc., a Memphis, TN based, regional systems integrator. As director with Appex LS, Boston, a Greylock venture capital funded, cellular business systems firm, Greg & start-up team successfully orchestrated a $90m sale to Electronic Data Systems (EDS) Personnel Communications division. Greg was investor and CEO with start-up high-end consumer products manufacturer, Indulge Beauty, Inc.
Mr. Hillman earned an MBA in Economics / Finance from the University of Utah and a BA in Management from Park University, KS and served in the USAF.
