Eichstadt Gives Cross-Selling Presentation at NAIFA Meeting
Nancy Eichstadt, President and CEO of Carolina Leadership Group, LLC, recently presented “Cross Selling: Building Sustainable Customer Relationships” at the March meeting of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) in Spartanburg. Eichstadt discussed how to build sustainable customer relationships and gain more business from an existing customer base through cross-selling.
“Cross-selling is cost effective, drives profits and builds long-term relationships,” Eichstadt says. “It takes far less time and money to cultivate existing customers, selling more services to them and building lifelong business relationships, than it does to establish new, single-transaction clients.”
Eichstadt says that studies show that companies can boost profits anywhere from 25 -125 percent by retaining merely 5 percent more existing customers.
“Meeting client needs with a variety of services can generate satisfied customers,” Eichstadt says. “A satisfied customer not only tells up to 4-5 other people, but they also pay less attention to competition and continue to purchase additional products and services.”
