Business and Community Leaders Invited to Productivity Seminar April 29
Business and community leaders are invited to attend “Productivity: The Key to Your Success” from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Thursday, April 29 at the Commerce Club in Greenville. The session is being led by Nancy Eichstadt of Carolina Leadership Group, LLC, a managing partner of Leadership Management International (LMI).
The presentation will focus on helping businesses achieve increased productivity by identifying high-payoff activities, focusing on priorities, and managing interruptions. A major industry study conducted by Towers Perrin reported that a mere 14 percent of employees around the world are highly engaged in their work, leaving roughly 85 percent giving significantly less of themselves than they could.
“A manufacturing organization would never accept an 85 percent waste level in its operation,” Eichstadt says. “Why do executives permit such performance levels from their personnel? Their employees are their most powerful resource, yet the most underutilized from a production standpoint.”
Eichstadt possesses more than 25 years of experience in start-up and turn-around situations with large Fortune 500 companies such as Dow Chemical, Georgia Pacific, and Sealed Air Corp., as well as smaller entrepreneurial-focused businesses.
The cost for the session is $19 for Commerce Club members and $25 for non-members. Lunch will be included. For more information or to register, call Stephanie Nix at 232-5600 or Stephanie.Nix@ourclub.com.
