(Greenville, SC: April 13, 2010) – Acumen I.T., a Greenville-based technology company, has established a Project Management Office (PMO) to provide best practices for implementing and strengthening project management skills. Services range from consultative in nature, helping businesses establish or grow their own internal project management team, to providing skilled, knowledgeable project managers for hire.

Acumen’s team of professionals provides the benefits of implementing a PMO into an organization by demonstrating the efficiencies achieved and the money saved by streamlining internal processes. Jennie Fowler will lead the Project Management Consulting division. Fowler joined Acumen in November 2009, bringing more than 16 years of experience in the Information Technology and Project Management fields. Ten of these years included Departmental Management at the director or executive level. She holds a Masters Degree in Adult Education and received her undergraduate degree in Computer Technology. She is a certified Master Project Manager™ (MPM) and is also a member of the Project Management Institution (PMI).
