Joint Fiber Buyers Meeting

We are pleased to present information regarding the 2010 Joint Meeting of the Fiber Buyer Groups and the Southern Textile Association, to be held from Sunday, June 20 to Tuesday, June 22 at The Hilton Oceanfront Resort located in Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. You will hear from an excellent roster of speakers including President of NCTO Cass Johnson who will speak on political developments in Washington; Assistant United States Trade Representative for Textiles Gail Strickler who will give a federal trade update; President of Allenberg Cotton Company Anthony Tancredi who will speak on current conditions of the industry; Senior Economist Mark Vitner of Wachovia Corporation will give us an economic update; President Jay Self of Greenwood Mills and President of STA will give his STA president’s address; and Marketing Director for Shaw Industries Group Scott Humphrey will speak on who will inspire us with his industry experience.

The registration fee for members of STA, GTMA, SCMA, and NCTO and meeting sponsors is $395. Each registration fee includes one spouse or guest.

Room rates are $179 per evening, single or double, plus applicable state and local taxes. Note, only a limited number of rooms are being held for Saturday evening, June 19. The Hilton Oceanfront Resort will honor our room rate Thursday, June 17 to Friday, June 25 based on availability.
